Spending Less and Living More
Michelle McGagh has been writing about money for over a decade. But how much did she really know about her own spending?
Last year, Michelle challenged herself to spend money on purely essential items for an entire year. The challenge to stop haphazardly spending money developed into a book, called “The No Spend Year”, saving her around £22,000 in the process. Including the obvious financial benefit, her relationship with money, with time, and with others around her have all changed for the better.
Personal finance journalist, Michelle, has spent over ten years writing for titles including AOL, Money Observer, City Wire, and The Guardian.
